# How to Create Blog Posts

- Log into WP Admin for your website
- On the left hand side menu, navigate to **"Posts"**
  
    - Hovering over the 'Posts' tab, you will see a secondary menu:
      
          - **All Posts:** List of posts, can add/edit posts here.
          - **Add New Post:** Shortcut to creating a new post
          - **Categories:** Edit/Add Categories
          - **Tag:** Edit/Add Tags
- Click **'Add New Post'

- When you add a new post, you will see various sections to add information. The sections you will likely edit are as follows: 
    - **Title:** Title of Blog Post
    - **Content:** Body of Post
    - **Categories:** Add categories to organize posts
    - **Author:** Select who the author of the post is from list of authors in Users
    - **Rank Math Seo:** Add Meta Title and Description
    - **Featured Image:** Set the blogs thumbnail images

- Once complete, navigate back to the top of the page and click the blue '**Publish**' button in the corner.
